This blog was created for the Social Informations course at University of Tennessee, Knoxville, which explores the interplay between people, technology, organizations and information using examples from around the world.

Carrie Mills is a graduate student at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where she is completing her master’s degree in Strategic and Digital Communications. She graduated from Carson-Newman University in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in Communications.

Carrie has years of experience in digital marketing and communications with a background in nonprofit management. She currently serves as the social media and web specialist at Pellissippi State Community College.
